Is There Synchronicity Afoot In UFO Flaps?

According to Wikipedia, Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events which occur in a meaningful manner, but which are causally unrelated. In order to be synchronous, the events must be related to one another conceptually, and the chance that they would occur together by random chance must be very small. If we consider this as an operating bias that is responsible for the behavioral manifestation of UFO sightings, this theory certainly appears to be a reasonable framework to consider if one is to identify an operating principal behind them. As in the old quantum example of the tree falling in a forest when there is no observer present, one certainly may take into consideration that perhaps the event of a sighting or encounter while on the surface may appear to be acausal.

On the other hand, in varying degrees either amplified or discounted by the values of the observer, we could reach out on a fairly tangible branch and make a critical assumption, yes these appearances are meaningful. If this is so, then we may ask what precipitates, in the term of synchronicity, an encounter?

Is there a predisposition of openess toward such an experience in the latent observer? If so, what are the factors required to create a sighting and let's say since no individual exists alone in a vacuum but rather part of the larger organism of humanity, then there is a multiplying factor that perhaps is a characteristic in the sense that a bias toward both an individuals validation of a non consensus predisposition, as well as the sum total of those so disposed, may be a significant state of potential, that then is acted upon, once manifested, by an increase in attention focused on the phenomenon by mass media, word of mouth etc, in a quantum phenomenon akin to expotential increase by cubing, etc.

Is this why there are flaps, or a bell curve of sightings in an geographic area that once recognised, is amplified in this sense, in other words, as time progresses in this process, the tipping edge or threshold between consensus reality and non consensus reality reaches a critical mass , which then results in an escalating series of manifestations in a quantum process that is result of a reciprocal, interconnection between mind and matter. Does this then have long term effects that can cause more potential for similar events to occur in the future?

Alan Vaughan, author of Incredible Coincidence: The Baffling World of Synchronicity (Ballantine) calls "the synchronicity of synchronicity." Just having an active interest in the matter seems to make synchronicities happen more often -- in part, of course, because we notice them more."

If so, then there also seems to be a need for a symbolic representation that operates on a consensus model of what such a manifestation should appear to be, whether it is an airship, a missle, a saucer, or a stealth, delta winged, silent craft. These images are amplified back into consensus reality by repetition, perhaps as much as the various prototypes of aliens are, which then they manifest as we conceptualise them in this squared amplification of consensus reality, as feedback.

Again, however in this game field we can play or be played...so this phenomenon, if exploited by a technology capable of measuring the reactive nature of the observer could independently derive significant information to create a phenomenon that effectively masks itself. So this may be the chicken or the egg, or the chicken\egg hybrid being an alien concoction.

As Meg Lundstrom reported, "Some synchronicities are not the delivery of objects but of insights: something in the outer world crystallizes or confirms an inner process. Those synchronicities can "feel" much like intuition: it’s sudden information perceived by the psyche and experienced as true. "They’re both messages, but one is internal and one external," says John Graham, a former foreign officer who with his wife, Ann Medlock, runs the Giraffe Project, an intrepid organization in Langley, Washington, that recognizes people who stick their necks out for the common good. The organization lives hand to mouth on donations, but John intuitively knows when a big check is in the morning mail, and the amount is often synchronistically the exact amount they need to pay a pressing bill. "Synchronicity and intuition are saying the same thing, it’s just as if one were speaking French and the other Spanish," he says."

So, if this were so, could a survey conducted today based on a large sample of participants who had as a consensus, a recognition of the UFO phenomenon as being a valid exterior manifestation of their inner reality, predict, by the inner aspect of synchronicity...their intuition.... the major manifestation of a UFO flap accurately?
